I would spend ours in that room without finding anyone to play with. and only 1 reply after 3 days? do people still play this game?

To me this post appears to have only been here two days (48 hours, that is) at most. But yeah, I've been slack about checking forums since I've been messing with some things recently. As for people playing: Well, I last booted it a while ago... Since I still have a levelcapped character, I can't be bothered playing solo. (I still don't have Odin, but I gave up that hunt a while ago.)

i have never played this game on multiplayer so I have never beaten omega or eden. as for odin no clue. do developers still plan to update the game? by the way what are the end game gears I should have besides ultima weapon?

Yeah, there are devs around, they post now-and-again, look about a bit and try to find the recent posts discussing 0.9.3.

My endgame loadout is armour, shield and helm from the dwarven merchant, the belt that gives like +30 all-stats from the elven shop, and as for weapon, well, I'm rocking the staff with Ultima in it. In lieu of ultima weapon, the other guys I know to have capped out used Masamune, I think. I'm always a more mage/cleric type, so I tend to not know much about the warrior's choices.

isn't ultimate weapon better than masamune? (we are going way off topic lol)

anyway I do hope people would come back playing this game

I'm still checking the forums on a semi-daily basis. We are relatively far with the new version, as in beta-testing could begin soon, but there IS still some stuff left to do.

Yeah, Ultima Weapon is better. But since most of my party didn't have it, they had Masamune, since it was the best they could get.

And yeah, it'd be good to get more players - I doubt I'll be able to drag anyone back in, even with 0.9.3 right around the corner. (Even after it releases, I think they won't care anymore...)

if the developers are still working on the next version surely there are still people who play the map?

Also, it's because WCIII in general is dying. A large portion of the playerbase for it was only here for DotA, and they're disappearing because of DotA 2 (and League/HoN, but they've had their time already.)

where do you hang around? is there a different forums besides this?

I only know of one place for FFERPG, that's here. And now the op nt channel, but there's basically nothing happening there.
And this between 3-4 forums that I'm active in, some 30ish webcomics, plus everyone I chat to... Oh, and people who I talk to at uni.

So if there is another forum, I'd like to know... I do hear about lots of games going on in certain places - such as nonterrorist mentioning his bot getting a lot of use. So where are all these players?

Well most of the players on the bot is randoms, and considering the map still says Polama... They probably never make it here but I did play a few games where people had some decent codes *1100ish range* So it got a bit of playtime from them at least.

Mmm. You're probably quite right there. But I still remember something about a large, consistent group of players somewhere. Somewhere that I couldn't reach.

Should do what I did, make a Mii on your 3ds because its far less creepy then my not cartoonish appearence while still being spot on.

Implying I have any Nintendo devices. I did make an Xbox avatar recently, but meh. Though you have given me an idea, I'll work on that later.
