Question about Omega Weapon

Me and my friends decided to play fferg again ( stopped at 0.8.6) and after defeating Omega I wonder if it drops anything worth of the time we need?
Did him one Solo on very easy and once on normal with some friends and both times only crystal shards...

Proof if you think I am lying

Since Omega Weapon is arguably the strongest superboss in the game (currently), we thought it isn't necessary to have him drop anything - if you can kill him, you can kill everything. So as of now, Omega doesn't drop anything.

This has been reported many many times and usually we censor it since this bug is badly abusable. Hopefully it will be fixed in 0.9.3.

I thought that you got Omega Proof from defeating Omega Weapon?

Wasn't i supposed to give a stat boost that could be saved?
Never got around beating him (can't even kill eden now since my friends stopped playing...)

Yeah I think it was a stat boost but I don't think you could save it, I haven't played since the pollama forums went down and only just found this forum today, I might get back into it again soon.

If what i'm thinking is right the save function couldn't save it yes.
Older version had a mark that gave status, but can't if i can't remember the version it's probably really old (i think omega was still in the icy zone back then).

Yeah I think that Omega is on the small island below Ultima now, I think the final boss after you beat Gafgarion is in the ice area where Omega was in the old versions. I can't remember if the 0.9.2 version gives you the status or not.

I was under the impression it did give you the buff. I remember a screenshot on the old forum of someone having it, and I think that was taken in 0.9.2.

Yes, the buff is given, but it can't be saved... So, you deal him enough damage, you get the buff, you play around, and then in the remake, no buff. Simple :p

I wasn't debating whether it could be saved or not, I thought we were clear that it couldn't be. I was debating whether you actually got the buff. (And what it did, if anything.)

Nothing, just a "proof" as the game says. I added the save information, because it's useful, not because you were asking for it... But I think that I answered your question too: you get the buff, it was supposed to be saved, but you can't... and it's just a trophy, nothing else
